Customer Testimonial: Sr. Manager, Customs Import/Export Compliance, Benjamin Moore
Well-known paint manufacturer Benjamin Moore is committed to producing the highest quality paints and finishes, and getting those products into the hands of customers through retail locations nationwide. Like most manufacturers, they needed a way to distribute their products to their customers in the fastest and most cost-efficient way possible.
Peter Shea, Senior Manager of Customs Import/Export Compliance, takes a moment to discuss how the challenges associated with their mission led Benjamin Moore to Amber Road. By utilizing Amber Road’s Trade Agreements solution, Benjamin Moore was able to automate and centralize their North American Free Trade Agreement (NAFTA) processes. This automated the supplier solicitation, qualification and certificate management processes for importers and exporters, which mitigated issues with just-in-time inventory, classifications and border delays. Thus leading to the elimination of wait times for certificates of origin to re-classify the tariff codes – ultimately saving millions of dollars, accelerating cash flows, and providing more time for employees to research additional foreign expansion opportunities.
Benjamin Moore achieved more progress in four months than in the past 15 years, making a huge impact on their business and impressing the COO. Interested in achieving those same results?
